Thanks for reading the article Johnnie. I do not believe in not having any framework. That would be like playing a game without rules. SAFe has a lot of good ideas. So does LeSS , Nexus, Scrum, Crystal, DAD and XP (and so on).
Still, I guess my point is that empirical process should also apply to the processes of the framework. Not just how you work in the framework. Hence, there is a need to “pimp” the framework if you want go to the next level. To not have it washed up…
However, I disagree that SAFe is for scaling only. SAFe adds lots of lean principles for example. They are great but not really necessary for scaling. SAFe is also very much more specific than for example LeSS.
Or did I misunderstand you?
